THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing, privately owned group of hospitality, catering, venues and event management businesses. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the marketing team in the creation, delivery and analysis of all online and offline marketing activity across all Smart Group brands.

This role is perfect for someone ready to contribute to a collaborative marketing team and take ownership of key responsibilities, especially in supporting social media initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working closely with the wider marketing team, including the Marketing Director, Senior Marketing Managers, Marketing Assistants, and Graphic Designers, to support social media campaigns across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X (formerly Twitter).
- Assisting in the creation, scheduling, and monitoring of engaging social media content, including copy, photography, and video, aligned with campaign goals.
- Supporting the analysis of social media performance and providing insights to optimise future campaigns.
- Collaborating with team members and brands to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all platforms and marketing materials.
- Assisting with the planning and delivery of broader marketing campaigns across print and digital channels.
- Writing and proofreading compelling copy for various marketing materials, including brochures, email campaigns, and blog posts.
- Maintaining and updating website content and analysing web performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Supporting the team in organising trade shows, showcases, and promotional events.
- Conducting market research to keep informed of industry trends and identify opportunities.
- Managing the content calendar to ensure timely delivery of marketing initiatives.
- Providing on-site support during events when required, particularly during busy periods.
ABOUT YOU
What you’ll bring:
- A strong interest in social media trends and an understanding of digital platforms.
- Creativity and a flair for storytelling and visual content creation.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently.
- Confidence in juggling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with marketing tools such as scheduling platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite).
- Basic design skills (e.g., Canva or Adobe Creative Suite) would be an advantage.
- Previous experience in marketing, social media, or a related field, particularly in events or hospitality, is desirable.
Education:
- Social Marketing, Marketing, Media or relevant Degree i.e..English or equivalent qualification
- Or A Level educated with a relevant professional qualification.
- A good understanding of marketing and an interest in social media and content creation.
