Smart Group are excited to announce that they have welcomed yet another fantastic London venue to their portfolio: Magazine London, located in the heart of Greenwich Peninsula. The launch of this new events space will take place in the summer of 2019, and will see two of the Group’s divisions, Moving Venue and Smart Christmas Parties, come together to deliver exceptional events.
Magazine London itself will offer a flexible 3,000 capacity events space (total 3,205m2), and will also benefit from an adjoining landscaped environment, The Showground, on the banks of the River Thames, with capacity for 7,000. Together they will have a combined capacity of 10,000, opening up the potential for events, brand activations and festivals that require an outdoor element. Located within Greenwich Peninsula and with stunning views of Canary Wharf, this ideally located venue will have easy transport links that give guests the chance to arrive by underground, road and river.
Our award-winning catering company, Moving Venue, has been chosen as the exclusive caterer for the venue. It’ll be in their remit to produce all aspects of the venue’s catering, from high-end three-course menus to canapés for over 3,000 guests at the same time. Moving Venue will draw on its 35 years’ experience in the industry to deliver creative, event-friendly catering using fresh, seasonal produce.

Meanwhile, Smart Christmas Parties have announced that the venue will take on the theme of Après over the 2019 festive period, a theme that is set to wow guests as they party within an alpine wonderland. Après at Magazine London will have capacity for 2,500 for receptions and 1,250 for dinners and will offer guests incredible theming, spectacular entertainment and stunning food from Moving Venue.
