Story Update

• BCG Corporate Offsite at Pennyhill Park: Holly and Vicky led the charge on this two-day event for BCG, delivering our best one yet! Pennyhill Park provided a stunning backdrop, and thanks to Holly and Vicky’s meticulous planning, client feedback was fantastic!

• Private Party for David Pain: Annabel and Frieda, alongside Moving Venue and Last Supper worked together to create an event that was truly special, bringing Greg’s creative ideas to life. Despite the great British summer doing its best to spoil it, the team enjoyed creating a whole event from scratch in his back garden. View the gallery here.

• HOOPP Summer Party: Was held at the beautiful Hotel Café Royal. A new client of Story’s and the team ensured a fantastic time for all guests and the feedback was wonderful.

•  Google Summer Party: Was held at the stunning Wild at Tart and a fabulous evening was had by all. With us re-engaging with an old Story client in a new role and hoping for further introductions from here.

• JustGiving Awards: Holly led the team through this inspiring awards evening, with Harry taking the lead on production. The event looks to reward an incredible array of charitable efforts, with the guest list full of remarkable human beings, turning the worst experiences into something incredibly positive. Taking place at the iconic Roundhouse, catered by Moving Venue it was another wonderful event.

• 10th Anniversary Dinner for Symmetry Investments at The Natural History Museum: An iconic setting for a milestone event, this dinner was a spectacular celebration of Symmetry Investments’ decade of success. Robyn and Iona worked incredibly hard to ensure that this event was a huge success, with senior stakeholders of Symmetry keeping a close eye on plans!

• Amplify Party with Artful Dodger: The Amplify party turned up the energy with a live performance by Artful Dodger, delivering an unforgettable night of music, delicious street food and fun.

• BCG Summer Offsite at Syon Park: Despite some challenging weather, Becs, Harry and the wider team ensured that the BCG summer offsite at Syon Park was a huge success, working alongside Moving Venue with our creativity and resilience.

• Mars Conference: One of the largest projects of this period, the Mars Pet Nutrition conference, which we pitched and won back in spring, was a triumph. It was a three-day event, held at The Royal Lancaster and we were looking after the content as well as full event management. A special mention should go to Vicky, Becks, Harry, Lulu and Danielle who worked incredibly hard to deliver this event.

• IFAW Awards Event: We wrapped up our busy period with the prestigious Animal Action Awards for IFAW held at BAFTA, followed by a smaller Wildlife Crime Prevention fundraiser for 150 people on the Friday, bringing our whirlwind six weeks to a successful close.

Alongside these incredible projects, Annabel and Frieda also played key roles in supporting group initiatives with both Smart Friends and Bierfest. Making this an especially busy but successful period for the entire team!
We couldn’t be prouder of the team’s dedication and hard work shown over these six weeks and in the lead up. Here’s to many more spectacular events in the future!
